What do you like most about playing on the road?
Seeing all the different people loving what we do. Catching up with good friends.
What do you like least about playing on the road?
Being away from home and road food.
What's your favorite thing about playing Monday Nights at the Maple Leaf?
It feels like home. It so relaxed. Everybody is waiting and happy to see each other.
Who's been your favorite guest artist(s) to sit-in with PGF?
Steve Winwood and Joe Sample, both are musical legends and to play music side by side with them is a dream come true. Also, Geechie from the Wild Magnolia's, his bass drumming is the heart that pumps the blood through New Orleans music.
What's your goal for New Orleans, post-Katrina?
To repair and rebuild New Orleans from the ground up and to make it better: meaning the neighborhoods, school system, levee system, and system of government. The culture of New Orleans will continue as long as the people have confidence in the city.
